What kind of issue is it?
Before continuing, please disconnect the water machine from the socket and confirm whether the smell is coming from the machine or the socket.
Is the water machine new?
Please try the following steps:
  1. Please ensure the water machine has a 10cm gap at the rear to any walls to allow air to flow
  2. Please ensure the water machine is placed on a solid surface ie. there are no towels placed underneath it etc
  1. Please islolate the power supply
  2. Contact Customer services to schedule a technical visit
New water machines can sometimes give a slight 'new' smell at first which will dissapear aftePlease try the following steps:
  1. Please ensure the water machine has a 10cm gap at the rear to any walls to allow air to flow
  2. Please ensure the water machine is placed on a solid surface, there are no towels placed underneath it etcr a day or two.
  1. Please islolate the power supply
  2. Contact Customer services to schedule a technical visit
We advise at this point that you isolate the water machine from the power supply and call an electrician to look at your house wiring.
  1. Reconnect your water machine
  2. Enter the menu and follow 'auto flush' process to refresh water

Please ensure the cup rest and drip tray are clean. Sometimes dirt or milk can be present here.
Please clean the entire exterior of the water machine.
  1. Use a soft cloth and lukewarm water to clean the body and a dry cloth to clean the control panel.
  2. Don’t use harsh detergents, concentrated cleaning fluids, solvents or abrasive cleaning aids
  3. Remember the water machine is connected to the electrics, so don’t get the back wet.
  4. If you'd like, you may purchase a sanitising kit. Suggested: Aqua Dosa S11 Sanitising Kit

Please ensure your water machine has been descaled and the carbon filter has been replaced within the last 6 months. This should resolve the issue

New water machines can experience some slightly cloudy hot water to begin with. This is not unusual and is expected whilst the hot water system settles in. Please follow the following steps to speed up the 'settle in' period.
  1. Press the EXTRA HOT button, and wait until the water BOILS
  2. DO NOT USE THE MACHINE FOR 30 mins
  3. Press the EXTRA HOT button and allow the water to BOIL again
  4. DO NOT USE THE MACHINE FOR another 30 mins
  5. Press the EXTRA HOT button and wait for the water to boil one last time
  6. Dispense TWO litres od water by pressing the HOT button. Air may be present in the system so a slight spluttering may occur.
  7. Check for clarity in the water
  8. REPEAT THIS PROCESS IF REQUIRED.

Please try using a different cup. Sometimes a cup may smell or taste funny due to left over detergent.
Please ensure WaterBar was descaled and carbon filter was replaced within 6 months. If not, replace accordingly.
